Honda Expands its China Operations
On May 28, Honda Motor Co. said it will add a production line and build an engine plant at its factory in Guangzhou, Guangdong through its joint venture Guangqi Honda Automobile Co. The new line is expected to become operational in 2015 and have an initial annual production of 120,000 units, increasing Guangqi Honda’s overall annual automobile production to 600,000 units.
