Shanghai Issues Luncheon:
China's Economic Decisionmaking and Leadership
The US-China Business Council (USCBC) cordially invites you to a luncheon with Victor Shih, assistant professor of Political Science at Northwestern University, author of Factions and Finance in China: Elite Conflict and Inflation, and a noted expert on China's elite politics and political economy.
Shih will detail the intricacies of China's economic decisionmaking process, particularly regarding key macroeconomic issues such as currency and inflation. He will also provide his analysis and views on China's new economic leadership team, appointed at the National People's Congress in March, and discuss potential changes to economic policy in the coming months.
