Notes on the 2000-07 Edition

This year's edition of the US-China Business Council report on US Exports to China by state differs from the two previous editions in the following ways:

• All data used for this and previous editions come from the US Census Bureau via the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission. For the 2007 edition, USCBC also used the US Census Bureau's USA Trade Online database. Any differences in the current edition compared to previous editions thus reflect minor Census Bureau adjustments and corrections.
• In the 2005 and 2006 editions, the growth rate of state exports to the world included the growth rate of exports to China. This year, the growth rate of total state exports to the rest of the world excludes China, to provide a better comparison.
