Howard Wu

Howard Wu is the Chief Representative of Baker McKenzie’s Shanghai office. His practice focuses on cross-border transactions involving the PRC, in particular Mergers and Acquisitions with a focus on Information Technology, Consumer Goods & Retail and Major Projects. He was named as Hall of Fame (Corporate & M&A, China) in 2021 by Asia Pacific Legal 500, China Top 15 M&A Lawyers in 2020 by ALB and Leading Lawyer for Technology, Media & Telecommunications (Information Technology, China) from 2009 to 2020 by Chambers Asia.

Howard graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A., Columbia University with an M.A. and Fordham University School of Law with a J.D.  He is admitted to practice law in California and is a foreign registered lawyer in Hong Kong and a registered representative of Baker McKenzie’s Shanghai office.
