Allen & Overy Outlook on M&A During and Post COVID-19

The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is bringing the global transactions market to a near standstill with a sharp slowdown in deal-making likely to persist until the public health crisis is brought under control. However in a webinar on June 30th, Benjamin Crawford and François Renard, Partners at Allen & Overy, will shed some light on the areas where investors have not lost their appetite for deals in both developed and emerging markets. Collectively Benjamin and François bring over three decades of experience in cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and antitrust. They will share their expertise and field questions from members.

  1. What have transacting parties have been focusing on and deal term trends
  2. Foreign investment regimes: pre- and post-COVID position
  3. New regulatory issues: challenges and opportunities
  4. Merger control: latest developments and key considerations on risk management
  5. What lies ahead and reasons to be hopeful

This event is for USCBC member companies and invited guests only. Registration is required. No media will be in attendance.
