Please join the US-China Business Council for a roundtable discussion with Dinny McMahon, a fellow at the Chicago-based think tank MacroPolo, financial journalist and author of the forthcoming book, “China’s Great Wall of Debt: Shadow Banks, Ghost Cities, Massive Loans and the End of the Chinese Miracle.”
McMahon will talk about his research into the debt and waste that have built up in China’s economy, as well as bureaucratic issues and other systemic challenges that he believes are pushing China toward an economic reckoning.
