China’s Zero-COVID Policy in the Face of Omicron
As Hong Kong and China face outbreaks of Omicron, both governments continue to pursue a zero-COVID policy, with new restrictions being imposed to contain the outbreaks. Given the high transmissibility of Omicron, following a zero-COVID policy has brought newfound challenges to travel, the economy, and supply chains.
To unpack what is happening on the ground and assess what future health policy could look like in Hong Kong and China, USCBC’s President Craig Allen will host a discussion with the Council on Foreign Relations Senior Fellow for Global Health Dr. Yanzhong Huang. We will also hear brief remarks from Melinda Xu, Senior Director, USCBC Shanghai; Feng Yan, China Vice President, Air Products; and Stella Zhu, Senior Financial Director, Emerson China.
The deadline to register for this program is on March 1 at 2:00PM ET. This event is for USCBC member companies and invited guests only. Registration is required. Please register using your work email so that we don't mistakenly decline you. Dial-in information will be provided upon registration approval on March 2 at 3:00pm ET.
