DOE Briefing on Sunnylands CCUS Deliverables

The US Department of Energy (DOE) plans to brief USCBC members virtually on progress made on the CCUS deliverables agreed to in the November 2023 Sunnylands Statement. The briefing is scheduled for Thursday, June 27 at 8:30 pm China time / 8:30 am US ET.

Stephanie Duran, Energy Attaché and Director of the DOE China Office at the US Embassy in Beijing, will brief member companies virtually to help them prepare projects they wish to be considered for selection as one of China’s five large-scale CCUS demonstration projects. The DOE is currently working with Chinese stakeholders to finalize the selection criteria and application process, with official announcements expected soon.
