Fireside Chat with Lt. Governor of California Ambassador Eleni Kounalakis

USCBC and State International Development Organizations (SIDO) will host a virtual fireside chat featuring Lieutenant Governor of California, Ambassador Eleni Kounalakis, and USCBC President, Craig Allen to discuss the Golden State’s trade relationship with China and its engagement in US-China affairs. Lt. Governor Kounalakis will share her insights on the role of Californian businesses, opportune areas of bilateral cooperation, and provide an outlook for the future of US-China trade. She will also give advice on state-level initiatives and practices to support businesses and promote trade with China.

Ambassador Eleni Kounalakis is the 50th Lt. Governor of California, the first woman elected to serve this position. In addition to her duties as Lt. Governor, she is also California’s Representative for International Affairs and Trade. There will be a Q&A moderated by USCBC president, Craig Allen, following the chat.
