Roundtable Briefing on the US-China Innovation Dialogue and Smart Infrastructure

The US and Chinese governments are in the early stages of planning for this year’s Innovation Dialogue, set to take place in the United States on the eve of the high-level Strategic & Economic Dialogue. Last year’s Innovation Dialogue included detailed discussions on a number of key topics relevant to US companies, including smart infrastructure for urbanization, innovation tax incentives, draft rules related to inventor compensation, and innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Please join the US-China Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global IP Center and its International Division for a briefing with Mahlet Mesfin and Kelly Gallagher from the Office of Science and Technology to discuss the ongoing initiatives of the US-China Innovation Dialogue, including discussions on smart infrastructure.

The first half of the briefing will include an open discussion on possible topics that could be included in the workplan for smart infrastructure for urbanization, followed by a brainstorming session of potential topics for the 2015 Innovation Dialogue.

This event is open to members and invited guests of USCBC and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce only.
