Understanding Southeast Asia's Role in US-China Trade & Geopolitical Competition

Southeast Asia is playing an increasingly important role in US-China trade and geopolitical competition. Southeast Asian countries have benefitted in recent years from increased trade and investment from the United States and China, driven in part by tensions between the two countries which have encouraged the US and Chinese governments to strengthen their respective relationships in the region and encouraged companies to diversify their supply chains.

Join USCBC Business Advisory Services Manager John Clark , Bower Group Asia Director for Research, Murray Hiebert, Bower Group Asia Managing Director for Singapore, Nydia Ngiow, and Steven Okun, Founder and CEO of APAC Advisors and Senior Advisor to McLarty Associates for a discussion of these issues. The panel will address the economic and security factors underlying US and Chinese engagements in the region and potential implications of a Harris or Trump administration on trade and regional alignment.

This event is for USCBC member companies and invited guests only. Registration is required. Please register using your work email so that we don't mistakenly decline you. The deadline to register for this program is on Wednesday, September 19 at 2:00 pm (US ET).
