Washington Roundtable: Compliance Issues in China

Ensuring adherence to corporate ethics and compliance policies remains a concern for many US companies doing business in China. A recent USCBC member survey on compliance best practices found that 60 percent of interviewed companies were concerned about competing with companies not following the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Please join the US-China Business Council (USCBC) for a roundtable discussion on bribery and compliance rules related to company operations in China. Brian Wilson, managing director of forensic investigations at KPMG LLP, and Peter Pang, of counsel and co-chair of the China Practice Group at Dickinson Wright PLLC, will discuss the enforcement and regulatory environment in China, practical challenges foreign companies face in complying with US rules on corruption, and best practices in risk management and responding to these challenges. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.

This program is open only to members and invited guests of USCBC.
