Deputy Director, Business Advisory Services, US-China Business Council
Jake has worked with USCBC since March, 2014. As the Deputy director, Jake is in charge of coordinating USCBC’s research and advocacy initiatives in Beijing, alongside offices in Washington and Shanghai. Jake also works to provide information on business operations and best practices to US companies doing business in China, and writes regularly for the China Market Intelligence. Prior to joining USCBC, Jake spent two years working in Beijing organizing corporate travel programs and research in areas around China. Jake received his BA in International and Global Studies, as well as East Asian Studies, from Brandeis University (summa cum laude), and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. His field research has focused on the economic history of the tea trade in Southwestern China, and was a finalist for the Fulbright scholarship.
