Yan Yu

Yan Yu is Senior Director, China Government Affairs at the US-China Business Council. In this role, she leads USCBC’s government affairs function across its Beijing and Shanghai offices, overseeing engagement with central and local Chinese government bodies. Since 2015, Yu has advised members on navigating the complexities of the Chinese policy environment by providing regulatory insights and engagement strategy. She also specializes in critical policies and regulations impacting members’ operations in China, including China’s Foreign Investment Law regime and the emerging countermeasures framework. Yu received her master’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is admitted to the PRC Bar.
