USCBC Board Visits Hangzhou to Observe China’s Innovation Ecosystem
HANGZHOU — September 3, 2026 — Members of the US-China Business Council (USCBC) Board of Directors and Advisory Council today concluded a one-day trip to Hangzhou to promote bilateral commercial ties and explore China’s growing domestic innovation ecosystem. The delegation met with Governor Liu Jie of Zhejiang province and visited some highly innovative Chinese private companies.
“The innovation coming out of China is remarkable in its speed, scale, and affordability,” said USCBC President Sean Stein. “US companies should learn from Chinese innovators but also prepare to compete with them as Chinese companies increasingly go global.”
