BEIJING—September 6, 2024—The US-China Business Council (USCBC), a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of more than 270 American companies that do business in China, today co-hosted a series of meetings with representatives from the United States and China about how to better support the circular economy, including through reducing industrial emissions, enhancing recycling value, managing plastic waste, and improving the remanufacturing of used equipment.

The forum brought together senior government and business leaders to foster a robust dialogue on advancing circular economy practices and deepening bilateral cooperation. The event highlighted a shared commitment to addressing global environmental challenges through innovation and strategic partnerships.
