USCBC Concludes 2025 Health Economy Business Forum in Beijing
BEIJING—Nov 12, 2025—The US-China Business Council (USCBC), in collaboration with the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), successfully convened the 2025 Health Economy Business Forum. This year’s program marked the fourth edition of the forum, continuing USCBC’s efforts to support constructive dialogue and practical cooperation in the healthcare sector.
The event brought together leading academic and policy experts, industry associations, and representatives from US and Chinese healthcare companies. Participants shared perspectives on how to strengthen a modern, integrated, and multi-layered healthcare system, in alignment with the goals of China’s “Healthy China 2030” blueprint and broader global health development priorities.
USCBC President Sean Stein delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of sustained engagement and transparency in promoting innovation and improving health outcomes. The event was attended by Chinese senior officials and think tanks, highlighting the on-going policy priorities and cooperation opportunities for multinational enterprises.
The program featured three key sessions: Policy Review and Regulatory Innovation for Health System Modernization, Financing and Payment Reform for Achieving Multi-Layered Health Coverage, and From Treatment to Prevention: Shaping a People-Centered, Healthy Aging Future. The forum builds on USCBC’s long-standing work to facilitate constructive engagement in critical sectors that contribute to public well-being and sustainable growth.
