USCBC Statement on Trump-Xi Meeting at G20
WASHINGTON – June 29, 2019 – The US-China Business Council and its members are pleased that the United States and China have agreed to get back to the negotiating table on trade issues and to postpone further escalation of their tariff battles. As we have noted from the outset, the issues that the United States is seeking to address with China are the right ones and resolution of them will benefit not just foreign companies doing business in China, but also China’s economy. We look forward to assisting in achieving that goal.
