WASHINGTON, DC—June 1, 2024—Members of the US-China Business Council (USCBC), a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of more than 270 American companies that do business in China, and the National Committee on US-China Relations (NCUSCR) today met with China’s Executive Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu to discuss areas of mutual interest on the sidelines of a US-Chinese government dialogue.

“USCBC supports these kinds of face-to-face dialogues between the US and Chinese governments and with US business and civic leaders,” USCBC President Craig Allen said. “Trade between the United States and China helps American companies and workers thrive and is an important stabilizing force in the bilateral relationship and the global economy.”

Established in 1973, USCBC represents many of the world’s largest brands doing business in China and for more than 50 years has advocated on behalf of its members, while promoting the many benefits of commercial exchange between the United States and China.
