USCBC 2025 Member Survey Panel Discussion
WASHINGTON—June 16, 2025—US-China Business Council (USCBC) President Sean Stein today announced that Jane Yang has been appointed vice president of our Shanghai representative office. Jane previously led business development and project management in the Yangtze River Delta practice at Control Risks, helping Fortune 500 firms craft market strategies and crisis response plans.
“Jane’s proven track record navigating China’s regulatory environment and her deep network in the Yangtze River Delta make her an ideal leader for our Shanghai office,” Stein said. “Her expertise will help members seize opportunity and manage risk in one of China’s most dynamic economic hubs, as well as drive their commercial success across our priority subnational regions.”
Noah Fraser, senior vice president of China operations at USCBC, added: “Jane combines deeply established, on-the-ground relationships with strategic insight and hands-on problem-solving experience. I’m thrilled to welcome her to the team and confident she will further strengthen the services we deliver to our members in Shanghai and beyond.”
Prior to joining Control Risks, Yang led the first satellite office of AmCham Shanghai in Suzhou, Jiangsu, representing more than 150 US companies across the region.
“I am honored to join USCBC. I look forward to working closely with our teams in China and the United States to continue serving the US business community during this pivotal time,” Yang said.
Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in management science from Suzhou University, a master’s degree in strategic marketing from the University of Liverpool, and she has completed advanced studies at the Johns Hopkins SAIS US-China Center in Nanjing.
