USCBC Welcomes US and Chinese Commercial Issues Working Group
BEIJING—September 4, 2024—The US-China Business Council (USCBC), a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of more than 270 American companies that do business in China, today welcomed delegations from the United States and China in Beijing for the second meeting of the bilateral Commercial Issues Working Group, announced last year by both governments.
USCBC co-hosted a reception with other business groups for US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Marisa Lago and China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen before the start of the official working group meetings.
The council supports the constructive dialogue facilitated by the working group structure and encourages both governments to continue building this collaborative mechanism for progress on business issues affecting the world’s two largest economies.
