Zhu Rongji, Former Premier (1998-2003)  

As an economic reformer and the leading architect of China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, Zhu Rongji was instrumental in laying the foundations of China’s modern-day economy. His reforms helped usher in an era of prosperity for China and for companies that do business there, both foreign and domestic. USCBC was privileged to host Premier Zhu in 1999 and 2000. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Chinese people.
