Jane Yang is a director of business advisory services at the US-China Business Council, where she and her team support more than 270 member companies with public policy, government relations, strategic communications and event programming. Jane has over a decade of experience helping multinational companies navigate regulatory and business environments across China, the US and global markets. Her career spans the private and public sectors across industries including pharmaceuticals, medical technology, advanced manufacturing and consulting.

Before joining the council, Jane led business development and project management for Control Risks Group in the Yangtze River Delta, supporting clients with risk management solutions. She previously served as chief representative of the Yangtze River Delta Center for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, supporting foreign companies’ investment and operations and maintaining cooperation with local government stakeholders.

Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in management science from Soochow University and a master’s degree in strategic marketing from the University of Liverpool. She completed further studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies US-China Center at Nanjing University.
