Nathaniel Davis is senior director of programs at the US-China Business Council, where he plans and executes meetings and special events, including issues briefings, annual conferences, the fundraising gala and events hosting US and Chinese officials. He moved to China in 1998 to study Chinese and in 1999 joined the office of Annie S.C. Wu, a prominent social entrepreneur and businesswoman, working on trade, education and health projects across China.
He entered the music and entertainment industry in 2001, organizing benefit concerts for UNICEF China. In 2004, he co-founded a Beijing event production company for both corporate and entertainment clients. He later co-founded Split United, a music and entertainment company where he served as director of operations for 15 years.
He spent 21 years in China before joining the council.
