Mr. Tang Song is the Secondary Inspector (Deputy Director-General level) of the Department of Foreign Investment Administration of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM). He is in charge of the Office of Coordination and Service Mechanism for Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, International Cooperation, and FDI Statistics, etc.
Mr. Tang Song has rich experience in foreign investment administration. He had been Deputy Director and Director of the Department of Foreign Investment Administration of MOFCOM. From 2012 to 2013, he was the mainland commercial advisor of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) .
In addition to above posts, He was appointed the Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Xizang Autonomous Region in March 2022. From Nov 2021 to Aug 2022, he had been the MOFCOM Deputy Commissioner in Chengdu.
Tang was born on Jan 24th, 1976. He graduated from Wuhan University of Technology and Shanghai University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Economics respectively.
