During a visit to China by France’s President Francois Hollande, state-owned China Aviation Supplies Holding Co. signed an agreement with Airbus SAS to purchase 60 aircraft from Airbus. At list value, the jets would be worth about $8 billion, but the purchase will probably come with a discount, reports the Wall Street Journal. Part of the order was frozen by China last year over a trade dispute. It’s unclear what will happen to the remaining jets in the separate order still frozen by China.
